For two weeks, Suraj Bhattarai lead a medical team from Monash University that worked at medical camps in remote villages of Nepal. They hiked across the hills of the Dolakha district and set camp in three villages: Bigu, Letang and Khopachagu.
Their patients, who varied from newborn to the elderly and pregnant to post-menopausal, suffered from a wide variety of illnesses including skin infections, STIs and perinatal issues.
