Nigerian Cancer Society (NCS) Executive Council led by its President, Dr Adamu Alhassan visited Dr. Aminu Magashi Garba, Coordinator AHBN/Coordinator Kano State Cancer Care Centre. Among the entourage is the Coordinator of the National Cancer Registry Dr. Abidemi Omonisi. The meeting brainstormed on the need for NCS and the National Cancer Registry to support Kano State to establish its Cancer Registry that will be domiciled at the Kano State Bureau of Statistics which will support cancer services' planning, policy and financing. The AHBN coordinator also used the opportunity to designate a work station for NCS, allows use of its Conference Facilities for Exco meetings and technical sessions and to use the AHBN Building Address in all NCS' official correspondence.
