Describe the epidemiology of FGM in your country using WHO/UNICEF respective government data. You can select another country in your region if FGM is not prevalent in your country. Please provide relevant reference(s) for your response. Pay attention to:

  • Prevalence of FGM
  • Prevalence of FGM medicalization and health care providers who perform FGM (FGM medicalization
  • Type of FGM that is mainly prevalent
  • Any other information related to FGM epidemiology in your country/ selected country
