I was born on the 29th of October 1983 in Hermosillo, Sonora Mexico. I graduated from Xochicalco University in Ensenada, Baja California as a physician, and I did the residence in Internal Medicine in Toluca, Estado de Mexico in the UAEMex (University of the State of Mexico). I had my master degree from the European University Miguel de Cervantes. Currently I run as a state leader in maternal health in Sonora Mexico. Part of my duties is to ensure the adequate care of women during pregnancy and the puerperium, and decrease maternal mortality. I am also in charge of the care of hospitalized patients in the area of Internal Medicine in the General Hospital of zone number 2 of the IMSS (Instituto Mexicano del Seguro Social). I participate as an advisor of postgraduate and speciality thesis.

I perceive myself more as an activist in favor of those women's rights than an employee. I fight for their rights to health, for their right to know, to make informed decisions, hoping it will be the best for them, their family and their community. I believe that the only way to promote women's rights is to have better knowledge and strength in order to know, improve, apply, disseminate, but finally do something for them.
