I was born on 22nd of March 1984 and obtained a Diploma in Clinical Medical Sciences from Chainama College of Health Sciences in 2006. I was first employed as Clinical Officer General at a rural health centre in northern Zambia under the Ministry of Health. I went on to do an Advanced Diploma in General Medicine at the University of Zambia. I have done various professional trainings notable among them is the Clinical Officer Surgical training in Africa (COST-AFRICA), a program that aims to bridge the gap in medical service provision where there is a shortage of specialist medical doctors. I have practiced in various hospitals in Zambia and worked as coordinator in different HIV prevention programs in Zambia. Before Joining Mariestopes Zambia, I worked as Provincial Coordinator for Voluntary Male Medical Circumcision at the Center for Infectious Disease Research in Zambia based in Southern Province Zambia. I am currently studying for a Bachelor of Science (honors) Public Health Promotion at Leeds Beckett University, United Kingdom. I am married with two kids.

At Marie Stopes Zambia, I work in different projects ensuring quality services are offered to our clients.

Some projects I work on are:

  • Outreach teams that offer family planning to seven provinces in Zambia.
  • MDGi project funded by UNICEF, a project that deals with adolescent sexual reproductive health.
  • ZCHPP, a USAID funded project that deals with sexual reproductive health among young adults and adolescents.
