Eunice was born in Aborlan, Palawan, Philippines and is the eldest among four siblings. She obtained her BSc in Biology from the University of the Philippines-Los Banos and received her BSc in Nursing from Our Lady of Fatima University - Valenzuela. Her first community health experience after graduation was working as Public Health Nurse in her hometown under the Nurse Assigned in Rural Health Services (NARS) Program. She later joined Save the Children Federation in the Philippines and worked in a number of roles under the Ketsana Project. After the project ended, she worked as one of Coordinators of the Community Health Information Tracking System (CHITS) Project in Quezon City which was spearheaded by the National Telehealth Center of the University of Philippines- Manila. She has also worked as Project Development Officer of Newborn Screening Center- Southern Luzon in the Philippines. She recently moved to Sydney to be with her husband.
