I am a male, Ugandan, aged 37, a resident of Uganda, a graduate with a Master of Science in Public Health from the International Health Sciences University Kampala Uganda with Bachelor of Arts in Economics upper second class division from Kyambogo University Uganda and a diploma holder in education secondary from the same university. I hold a certificate in survival analysis for epidemiologists from Makerere University Uganda and a certificate in Biostatistics II from Makerere University and a certificate in research and data collection in Gender Based Violence and implementation of SASA methodology from London School of Tropical Medicine & Hygiene. I also hold a certificate in the Universal Periodic Review mechanisms from UPR-Info Geneva.

I represented Uganda in the Universal Periodic Review in Geneva between 5-7th October 2016. I wrote and presented a report titled the state of the right to health and sexual reproductive health and rights in Uganda. I visited different permanent missions in Geneva and tried to influence their SRHR recommendations on Uganda. I have a peculiar experience in working with refugee populations in Northern Uganda and I worked as a field study coordinator with Médecins Sans Frontières and Comrades Convention for Development where I was coordinating MNCH and gender based programmes.

I have a wealth of experience in sexual reproductive health and rights work and I have registered enormous success in SRHR research, advocacy and management and of late I have founded an organization called Integrated Community Action for Development (ICAD). This is an organization that has been started to ensure popularization of sexual reproductive health rights in policy and practice.
