I was born on the 4th of October 1969 in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). I am married and a father of 4 children. I obtained my degree in medicine and surgery at the University of Lubumbashi DRC in 2002/2003. After successful internships in DRC (Sendwe General Hospital) and in Zambia (Ndola Central and Arthur Davison Children’s Hospitals), I was promoted to be a senior resident medical officer (SRMO) under the ministry of health in Zambia. I am a self-dedicated medical practitioner with over 15 years of experience in general clinical practice, more than 8 years of which have been focused on HIV/AIDS programs. I hold a masters degree of Public Health (MPH).

I am currently serving as a senior provincial clinical care officer in Central Province of Zambia for the USAID sponsored Zambia Prevention, Care and Treatment (ZPCT II) partnership under the patronages of FHI360. ZPCT II supports the Zambia’s Ministry of Health in 6 provinces and I head and coordinate implementation of clinical care activities: Antiretroviral therapy (ART) both for adults and pediatrics, TB/HIV services, Voluntary Medical Male Circumcision (VMMC) services and general clinical care services. I also sit on several Zambia’s Technical Working Groups (TWGs) and have made editorial contributions to various national guidelines in Zambia.

I have been honored with awards and special recognitions:

  • Labor Day award: The most outstanding medical officer at Roan General hospital, Luanshya. (Ministry of Health, 2009)
  • Labor Day award for outstanding achievement on job: for being a reliable, team player with the ability to assume additional responsibilities (under ZPCT II, 2014)

I speak three languages: French (native), English (fluent), Swahili (native).
