I am public health professional with working experience of over 6 years in Pakistan in different programs with the WHO and Save the Children. I did my bachelors from the Bolan Medical College in medicine and surgery in 2007. From 2008-2010 I worked with WHO as Disease Surveillance Officer GPEI in Northern Balochistan. From 2011-2012 I did my MPH from the University of Melbourne through AUSAID scholarship program for Pakistan. On my return from MPH, I again joined WHO at Country Office for GPEI as National Monitoring, Evaluation and Research Officer and later as Provincial Monitoring and Evaluation/Research Officer Balochistan. In this capacity I collaborated with one of my international colleague from CDC, and published a study (details below) on Polio eradication efforts.

In the year 2014 April I joined Save the Children as Health strengthening Coordinator for iMNCH Project in three rural districts of Balochistan. The project was aimed at strengthening maternal, newborn and child health services in PHC facilities. In this capacity I supported the development of minimum service delivery package for MNCH at levels in the province. Plus I also developed Performance Based Incentive Scheme for PHC staff involved in MNCH services and also piloted the same in the project districts.

From September 2014 to date I am supporting the RMNCAH and Nutrition Program with WHO. I provide technical assistance at policy and program level to the department of health in reproductive health and MNCAH. I supported the provincial DoH in developing the 5 years RMNCAH and Nutrition Strategy for the province, guided by the National Ten Points Agenda for RMNCAH and Nutrition (guiding points to meet the objectives of Global Agenda for Women, Children and Adolescent Health 2016-2030. I also supported the National and Provincial Every Newborn Action Plans and Newborn Health Road Map. For reproductive health I played important role in integration of RH and MNCH services and programming. Moreover, currently we are working on development of FP Road map for Pakistan and provinces.

During my work I have successful in building partnerships among partners for RMNCAH service delivery improvement. I successfully lead the RMNCH TF project in 2015-2016 through one UN platform that focused on improvement in policy and service delivery for women, newborn and children in far flung districts of rural Balochistan.
