I obtained my Medicine Bachelor, and Bachelor of Surgery (M.B.B.S) at Bayero University, Kano in early 2013. After my One year internship at Rasheed Shekoni Specialist Hospital, Dutse-Jigawa State, I then proceed with M.Sc Medical Microbiology with specialization in immunology at the same institution and graduated in late 2018. Am currently pursuing my PhD in Medical Microbiology with specialization in immunology at the Department of Medical Microbiology and Parasitology, Bayero University Kano-Nigeria.

I was opportune to be among the Adhoc Doctors who served during the 2015 Hajj exercise under the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON). I worked at General hospital Jahun (Jigawa) and General hospital Ningi (Bauchi) as a Medical Officer and Researcher between 2015-2017, and 2017-2018 respectively. I also served as the Medical Officer in-charged of General Hospital Jama’are in Bauchi State from 2018 to 2019.

I equally worked with fhi360, Nigeria as Technical Assistant USAID funded SIDHAS project in 2018. I was also the former Jama’are Local Government PHCs Mentoring team leader in EU/Unicef programme on Maternal and Child Health Care programme. Am currently a Research assistant in an ongoing Population Service International (Psi) Research on Harm reduction.

I speak two languages and am widely travelled across the geo-political zones of Nigeria.
