Dr Shehu Abdullahi Muhammad is born on the 09th of September 1966. He graduated from Minsk State Medical Institute, Minsk, Belarus in 1997 with a medical degree and qualifications in emergency obstetrics/gynecology. He held the position of Principal Medical officer at Hospital Management Board Kano, Kano State in Muhammad Abdullahi Wsae Specialist Hospital Nassarawa Kano in the OBS/GYN department and has OBS/GYN surgical experience. He has field experience in public health and has been working with the WHO since 2004 in positions ranging from Central Facilitator to his current position of Cluster Consultant. He has overseen the Polio Eradication Intensified activities, Supplementary polio immunization activities and Surveillance active Case search, based in Kano, Nigeria Currently he is the Cluster Consultant working in many Local Government Areas and the Current Chairman State Training.
He maintains a weekly health column in a Nigerian Newspaper ‘Daily Trust’ that answers readers questions on health particularly Sexual and Reproductive Health. He is widely travelled, married and blessed with 6 children.
