Serebe Abay Gebrie is an Ethiopian nationality who was born on the 9th May 1982GC. He graduated in Public Health Officer from Gondar University College of Medicine and Health Sciences in 2007 GC. He completed his post graduate in General Public Health from Addis Ababa University School of Public Health in 2014. He has substantial clinical experiences on management of Tuberculosis and Leprosy, Sexuality Transmitted Infections (STI), long acting and short acting family planning, Antiretroviral treatment (ART), Integrated Management of Adult, Neonatal and Child Illness (IMANCI), Prevention of Mother to Child Transmission (PMTCT), vaccine campaign coordinating, disease surveillance and reporting. He had worked in HIV/AIDS clinical mentoring and clinical nutrition care for PLWHA, infection prevention and other related areas. He also worked in managerial areas: being a medical director of a health center for three years and head of medical service and providers’ affairs at Ethiopian Social Health Insurance Agency for one year. He took different national and international trainings.

Currently he is Assistant Researcher at Ethiopian Public Health Institute in the directorate of Technology Transfer and Research Translation. He routinely works on Health Technology Transfer, Research Implementation and Evidence based policy brief preparation. He is also member of the Scientific and Ethical Research Office (SERO) of the institution.
