I was born on the 18th of October 1982 in Bahir-Dar, Ethiopia. I obtained Masters in Public health (MPH) from Hawassa University in 2012. I graduated in midwifery nursing from Addis Ababa University and in BA Degree, in Sociology from University of Gondar in 2002 & 2007 respectively. As a public health professional I have a wider experience by working on the prevention of disease and outbreaks with a special focus on MCH/STI health service area. I have been worked for 12years both at governmental and non-governmental organizations from lower community level to the top structural level at the managerial and technical areas through involvement of the following posts Tutor in Gondar University, Training organizer/facilitator/, field coordinator, Technical assistant in MCH service at MOH, health emergency coordinator. Through all those posts, I have learned/achieved about how to manage, supervise, mentor/ Coaching, organizing & facilitation of trainings, development of quality performance improvement tools and checklists. In general, I am energetic, love to work in team and believe in a result oriented performance to achievement the set goals. Currently, I am working as emergency health officer position in Southern nations and nationalities regional Health bureau (SNNPR) –UNICEF funded project in Ethiopia.
I speak two languages in advanced level (English and Amharic).
