I was born on the 11th of March 1978. I was graduated with a degree in Doctor of Medicine (MD) from Jimma University in 2003 and Masters in Public Health (MPH) from University of Gondar in 2012. I have worked in the prevention and control of HIV, TB and Malaria for the last 12 years, with more focus on HIV prevention, care and treatment. I served for 9 years as a program manager in the WHO country office Ethiopia supporting the health system at subnational and National levels. I have been a member of various technical working groups which were responsible for the development/adaptation of National Guidelines and Training Materials in HIV, STI, TB and Malaria.

Currently I work in the WHO country office Ethiopia as a National Professional Officer for HIV and STI.
