Academic Background

  • Université Libre de Bruxelles. Master’s degree in History and Cultures of Europe. September 2009
  • Université Libre de Bruxelles. Master’s degree in Sociology and Anthropology. July 2008
  • Université Libre de Bruxelles. Bachelor’s degree in Sociology and Anthropology. July 2007

I studied Sociology and Anthropology at the ULB in Brussels. Prior to joining UNFPA, I worked for a CSO (APAI) in Peru, and later for an ILO project on social protection for pregnant women and mothers in Ghana. I joined UNFPA in 2010, and since have worked as Programme Analyst in Kosovo, M&E Analyst at Technical Division at Headquarters, and now as M&E Officer in Laos. My current work focuses on creating and analysing evidence on development programme results, and making use of it to sharpen programmes and interventions. I gained quantitative and qualitative research skills through my training and my experience at corporate and field levels with the UN and INGOs, working mainly in the area of population, including Sexual and Reproductive Health, which I hope to further strengthen through this course.
