Kwaje is a South Sudanese and a clinician. He obtained an Advanced Diploma with Distinction in Community Health from the University of Moi School of Public Health and the African Medical and Research Foundation (AMREF) Health Africa International Training, Nairobi Kenya. He initially had training in Clinical Medicine and Public Health from the National Health Training Institute (AMREF) – Maridi.

He has over 7 years’ experience in managing Primary Health Care Programs (PHC) in conflict and post conflict settings. He has worked with the ECSS&S for more than 3 years in his current position and has worked with different Non-Governmental and Faith Based Organisations (NGOs/FBOs), (Capacity Building Officer, World Relief, South Sudan; Medical Logistics Officer, International Rescue Committee (IRC), South Sudan; Clinical Officer, Norwegian Peoples Aid (NPA); Clinical Officer In Charge, Evangelical Presbyterian Church; Dispenser, ECS- St. Martha PHCC and Teacher, Yei Day Secondary School).

His main focus is on program designing and management; Policy development; coordination and representation in key National and International Forums; advocacy and fund raising; Building local capacity at Diocesan and sub national levels; monitoring and evaluation including reporting, and participated in the development of Strategic plans for NGOs as well as being a member of the National Malaria Technical Working Group. He has strong research skills and is interested in Maternal Reproductive and Child Health Policy and Management in research with an emphasis in Integrated Community and Primary Health Care programs.
