Rosinah Mmamosadinyana Tshekedi, born on the 26 July 1968. I am a citizen of Botswana by birth and a single mother of two kids (Boy and a girl, 26 and 16 years old respectively). I have a proven record of reliability, accountability and responsibility. I spearheaded a community housing project for the department for a destitute mother (youth) of 5 children including 3 under 5s. This was in an effort to fulfil the MDGs 4 & 5 and in line with vision 2016 pillar of compassionate, just and caring nation. In recognition of the good leadership I was awarded a corporate award by Ministry of Health in Botswana in December 2013.

Current position and responsibilities: Senior Nursing Officer in Goodhope Primary hospital in Botswana since 8th April 2013 to date. Coordinating Primary Health care activities in the Hospital (including maternity and SRH units) and allocated clusters in the district as a middle manager.

Specialty and subspecialty certifications: I graduated General Nursing in 1993 July and completed Midwifery in 1997 July. I further graduated Bachelor of Advanced Nursing Science (Majored in Community Health and Nursing Management) in December 31st 2010 with University of Limpopo and then studied Post graduate Diploma in Public Health with University of South Africa (UNISA) in 2012.
