I graduated from the College of Health Sciences, University of Ilorin Nigeria 2008/09. I had since then worked in clinical setting until Dec 2013 when I joined in public health with FHI 360 Nigeria in the Strengthening Integrated Delivery of HIV/AIDS Services (SIDHAS) project as a Technical Officer, Clinical Services.
I work in line with the project’s goal which fundamentally is to strengthen the system, build capacity of staff and the institution to provided quality delivery of HIV/TB/RH/FP services. I found it challenging which has deepen more my desire for further acquisition of knowledge to affect, first, my immediate community then this global village.
My main area of interest are SRH, HIV/AIDS, and Infectious Diseases.
In the words of General C. Everett Koop who said “healthcare is vital to all of us some of the time, but public health is vital to all of us at all time”.
